Our team strongly recommends that patients with good oral health have two evaluations and hygiene appointments annually. If you’re struggling with periodontal disease or have especially sensitive teeth, one of our doctors could suggest more frequent visits. These routine appointments are important to maintain because they allow us to locate potential problems or areas of damage that may not be noticeable to an untrained eye.

During your checkup, our team will carefully inspect the surfaces of each of your teeth, your gums, your bite, and any existing restorations you may have. X-rays will show us the areas we can’t successfully view with just the naked eye, and additional screenings are often recommended depending on your age so that we can be sure there aren’t any potential health concerns. Once we have all of this information, we can work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan.
